HSK 7-9 organizes all communicative requirements into 30 tasks across 3 scene types. Unlike HSK 1-6, every task band now includes explicit translation requirements, and several tasks require oral interpretation. This reflects the near-native (C2) proficiency target of the 7-9 band.

Translation is a new and defining feature of HSK 7-9. It appears across all 3 scene types and tests your ability to:

- Preserve formal register, cultural tone, and precise meaning in all translated output
