These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Pass HSK mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who We Are

Pass HSK is a study platform built around the HSK exam syllabus, including HSK 1 through HSK 9 content, progress tracking, quizzes, and related learning tools.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree to provide accurate information when registering and to keep your account information up to date.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service.

You must not attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, disrupt, overload, or interfere with the Service or its supporting infrastructure.

You must not use the Service to upload unlawful, abusive, or infringing content.

You must not share, resell, or transfer paid access or subscription benefits in a way that violates platform rules or these Terms.

4. Subscriptions, Billing, and Purchases

Some features of Pass HSK may require a paid subscription or one-time purchase.

If you purchase through the Apple App Store or another app marketplace, billing, renewal, cancellation, and refund handling are governed primarily by that platform's rules.

We use RevenueCat to validate purchase status and unlock paid entitlements across supported devices.

Prices, feature availability, and plan structures may change from time to time.

5. Free Features and Service Changes

We may add, remove, improve, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

We do not guarantee that any specific free feature, lesson, level, streak mechanic, or study mode will remain available forever.

6. Educational Purpose and No Exam Guarantee

Pass HSK is an educational tool designed to help users prepare for HSK exams.

We do not guarantee any specific learning outcome, score improvement, exam result, certification, or admission decision.

Your results depend on many factors, including your study habits, consistency, prior knowledge, and official exam changes.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, branding, software, curriculum structure, graphics, text, and original content, is owned by or licensed to Pass HSK and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may use the Service only for your personal, non-commercial study use unless we explicitly agree otherwise in writing.

8. Termination and Account Deletion

You may stop using the Service at any time.

You may delete your account from within the app if that option is available, or contact support@passhsk.app for assistance.

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, misuse the Service, or create legal, security, or operational risk for us or other users.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law.

We do not warrant that the Service will always be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or compatible with every device, platform, or operating system version.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pass HSK will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business opportunities arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our liability will be limited to the amount you paid to us for the Service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

When we do, we will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date above.

Your continued use of the Service after the updated Terms become effective means you accept the revised Terms.
